Michael began his musical career at the tender age of 11 in California, USA.

             Primarily a self-taught guitarist, Michael formed his first original music project “Rage” at age 14. Within the year Rage was performing live on the local Fresno California music scene. By the age 17 he and his band shared the stage with International Recording Artists with names like Uriah Heep, Axxe, Y&T, Eric Martin Band (Mr. Big Fame, members of Tesla) to name a few.

           In 1986 Michael joined the Los Angeles based rock band Holy Soldier as lead guitarist. Holy Soldier was a major draw on the infamous Sunset Strip in Los Angeles in the late 1980’s.

The band released four critically acclaimed multi award winning albums over the course of 10 years- receiving multiple Dove Awards and many other prestigious recognitions. Michael toured & performed around the world with Holy Soldier for over a decade.


            He has performed extensively many in countries including United States, Canada, Japan, Germany, Mexico and Brazil.

Michael is well versed in many styles of music, specializing in Rock, Blues and Pop. He also plays various stringed instruments - including Bass, Lap Steel and Mandolin.


            He sites his main influences and foundation of his playing style range from the great Blues masters- the likes of Albert King, BB King, Muddy Waters, Stevie Ray Vaughn to Rock Legends such as Page, Gilmour and Michael Schenker.

With his own unique sound and style, Michael’s approach to guitar playing is never to “overplay”, but rather to “play for the song” applying his solid rhythms and his inventive, passionate, soulful lead lines to capture and convey the emotional intent of the music.


            Michael lives and works between Brazil and the United States. He is currently is performing his own original music in several countries.  He is also Guitarist/Vocalist for the four-man group -Pink Floyd Revival.
